Healthy father-daughter bonds result in many benefits,
including increased satisfaction in relationships, reduced
occurrences of substance abuse, increased educational
achievements, reduced rates of image obsession, depression
and suicide.
Healthy bonds don’t just happen. They are the fruit of
intentional and consistent efforts.
To strengthen communication and enhance time spent
together between daughters and their dads, the National
Center for Fathering created a seven-session conference
including general, dad-only/daughter-only, and one-on-one
sessions. We call this interactive day of learning the
Father-Daughter Summit. Since 2003, the National Center for
Fathering has conducted Father-Daughter Summit events
reaching over 11,000 fathers and daughters.
